The purpose of the Skill-Up Mobility project is to invest public-private partnerships to develop, strengthen, and scale promising and evidence-based training models in H-1B industries and occupations critical to meeting the goals of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and to maximize the impact of these investments.
A proficient workforce is needed to fill the good-paying jobs created by the historic BIL investment. Visions Skill-Up Mobility project will partner with employers and industry leaders to train and place job seekers in advanced manufacturing; information technology; and professional, scientific, and technical services occupations.

Skill-Up Mobility strengthens workforce capacity, promotes workforce development programs for high-demand job opportunities, and will increase our partner agencies enrollment and completion of critical training programs. Its ultimate aim is to improve the earning power and financial wellbeing of underserved and marginalized individuals, and increase community and household incomes.
